Richard grew up in the Philippines and moved to Regina with his family in 2008 when his dad found work her. He likes to play sports and is good at drawing. He is having trouble with math. Richard plans someday to be a mechanic.

Draiden was born in Regina and likes being with mommy and his brother and visiting family. He loves cuddles and is learning new things everyday. Hoping to start preschool and for it to be the best it can be.

Katherine is 37 years old and grew up in Regina. She likes Regina because of the many green spaces here. She really enjoys music, but also enjoys reading, classic cinema, bike riding and art. A couple challenges she faces are her health and being a single mom. Her hope for the future is to be healthy and be able to buy a house for her and her daughter within the next 4 years!

Vince is 33 years old and grew up in Wadena. He came to Regina 7 years ago to find work. He enjoys meeting new people and spending time with his kids. He is skilled at construction work. A challenge he faces daily is finding rides to work. He hope to further establish a career in the construction field.

Alexandria grew up in Regina and enjoys the Parks in the city. She loves to get along with others. A challenge she currently faces is her speech.

Karissa goes to school in Regina. She enjoys outdoor walking, and cooking. She hopes in the future to be a teacher.

John moved here with his wife from the Philippines in 2009. He enjoys playing billiards and online games. He struggles with providing for the needs of his family and hopes to finish his studies someday and be able to have a good job.

Mark was born in the Philippines and moved with his family to Regina in 2008. His hobbies include playing games and he has great hand coordination. Going to school in the winter is hard for him. He plans one day to be a professional gamer and start making money from this.

Sarah lives in Regina with her family. She loves to cook and is good at it. She is looking for a full-time job and hopes to have a house for her children someday.

Terrell is from Regina. He likes to play hockey with his friends and also likes karate and lego. He is an avid reader and is artistic. He has a hard time getting up in the morning. He hopes to be a policeman when he grows up.

Nathaniel is from Regina. He likes cars, Wii U games, Pokemon and Transformers. He loves playing on the monkey bars and playing at the park. He has a hard time tying his shoes. He hopes to complete grade school.

Dominic lives in Regina, where he can be close to his family and his friends. He likes Cars (McQueen), Transformers and Video games. He likes to bake cookies with his mommy. He can't write or read books on his own yet. He wants to finish school and be a firefighter when he grows up.

Tony is a fourteen-year-old boy, living in Regina with his mom, Lena A. Tony loves basketball, and he is really good at it too! In fact, Tony hopes to someday be a professional basketball player. Tony would like some size 11 shoes for Christmas, as well as socks, a blanket, and a gift card to EB Games.

Andrew grew up in Regina and on Little Black Bear. He enjoys sports and playing hockey. His current challenge is going to school and he dreams of becoming a RCMP officer. For Christmas, he would like warm footwear (size 10.5 male), hat, gloves, and a scarf, and a backpack.

Andreas was born in Regina in 2012. He is interested in hockey and sports. For Christmas, he would like some new toys and a blanket.

Andrey was born in the Ukraine, and came to Regina in 2009. Andrey came in search of a strong career, and he hopes to establish this in support of his family. Currently, Andrey is facing the challenge of learning the English language. Andrey is a skilled woodworker, and he enjoys travelling, camping, and fishing. Andrey would appreciate some warm footwear (size 7-7.5), work pants (size 32/32), and a gift card from Mark's Work Warehouse.

Keenan is an 11 year old boy. He moved to Regina three years ago. Keenan enjoys playing Xbox, playing with action figures, and drawing. His current challenges are reading and math in school. He has dreams to travel. For Christmas, Keenan would like a new sweater (size 14-16), a backpack, and a gift card to EB Games.

Elena was born in Russia, but came to Regina in June 2009, looking for a better life. Elena enjoys working with computers, as well as fishing and camping. Elena is skilled in graphic design, and hopes to further her education in the future. She is working hard to improve her English. Elena requests a winter coat (women's medium) and warm footwear (women's size 7), along with a Walmart gift card.

Darina grew up in Russia and Israel, but came to Regina in June 2009. She enjoys dance, sport, and gymnastics. Darina is currently facing the challenge of being more confident in herself, and one day she hopes to have an education. For Christmas, Darina would like black leggings (size small), warm footwear (women's size 7), and a gift card from Sportcheck.

Vienna is 4 years old and loves playing outside in the parks and going for bike rides with her mom. When she is inside, she enjoys looking after dolls, playing Play-Doh and making crafts. She is very good at singing, drawing and making jokes, She is working on learning the alphabet and wants to learn to read. She wants to be an astronaut, doctor or ballerina when she grows up.

Oluwashola grew up in Nigeria and moved to Regina in September 2010. She enjoys watching movies and reading Christian literature. She has good computer skills and is good at problem-solving and organization. Her biggest challenge is her mobility. Her hope for the future is to run a business.

Victor is just over 1 year old. He was born in Regina. He enjoys listening to music and watching TV. His mom is struggling with getting him to eat solid foods.

Samantha is 7 years old and grew up in the Philippines. She came to Regina August 15,2015 with her mother. She enjoys drawing, singing and watching movies. She is very good at looking after her sister and helping with household chore. She is also a creative thinker. She is struggling with the weather in Canada and adjusting to the social/cultural differences. Her mom hopes in the future for a better education for her daughter and that she will cope well socially and adjust to the Canadian climate.

Athan is 18 months old and has lived in Regina all his life. His mother loves him deeply and hopes to provide him with the best life possible.

Ayelynn is 4 years old and grew up in Regina. She loves playing with her friends. Her Mom thinks she is quite a delightful little girl and dreams of providing her the best life possible.

Alaysia is 6 years old and grew up in Regina. She loves playing with her friends and learning. A challenge she faces is her speech, and her mother is eager to see her experience success in overcoming this.

Pauline is 40 years old and grew up in Toronto, Ontario. She moved to Regina November 29, 2014, to look for work. She enjoys going to church and watching movies. A challenge she faces each weekend is finding a regular and trusted babysitter. As her children grow she hopes to raise them into caring and well-adjusted adults.

Micah is 10 years old and grew up in Toronto. He came to Regina June 30, 2015. He enjoys playing soccer and basketball. Beyond sports, he is also very good at singing and dancing. If you ask him of his dreams for the future, he'll tell you of his hopes to become a professional basketball player. Watch for him in the NBA draft of 2025! :-)

Keyona is 5 years old and grew up in Regina. He enjoys drawing and playing cars. He struggles with his speech and attends classes to help.

Raymond is 28 years old and family changes brought him to Regina. He is enjoys reading, boxing and working out. He is good at writing poetry. His biggest challenge is finding work. His dreams for the future include the desire to be useful to the church, perhaps in some form of prophetic role.

Josephine is 26 years old and grew up in Bellingham, Washington. She came to Regina with her family. She enjoys going to the park. She struggles to have a life without stress. She hopes to have the best future she can have.

Adayah is 9 years old and was born and raised in Regina. She enjoys playing sports and singing. She struggles a bit with reading. She hopes every day she can enjoy time with her family and friends.

Amanda was born in Regina in 1977. She loves to visit family and friends and strives to be a good mom. She wants to do a better job of budgeting and hopes to buy a home in the future.

Lynea grew up on the George Gordon First Nation reserve, moving to Regina in the past year for school. She's always been a good athlete and is skilled with computers too. She counts school among her current challenges; her aim is to receive a university degree in Business Administration.

Josh was born in 1985 and has lived most of his life in Regina. He enjoys working in construction and gives his best effort toward being a dad. He dreams to own his own house with his family in the future.

Desmond grew up in Saskatoon but moved to Regina in 2002 with his family He enjoys cooking and building things. He also enjoys cooking. His hopes for the future include returning to school.and finishing his education.

Deviney-Dawn enjoys outdoor activities. She s from Regina. She also enjoys singing and dancing. She is learning to get herself ready and her plans for the future include finishing school.

Maddison enjoys outdoor activities. She was born in Regina and enjoys playing with other children and with her sisters. She is a good eater and is learning to get herself ready.

Shaliyah likes all outdoor activities. She is from Regina and love interacting with other kids and playing games. She also loves dancing.

Nahanni was born in Regina and likes to color, sing and play dolls. She can count to 5 and knows her name, her age and her parents name. She is working at potty-training and attending school in the future.

Jenna moved here from Kamsack with her family. She likes school and softball and likes to work with youth. She is struggling with funding for school and hopes to finish her Indian Social Work Degree.

Jasmine was born in Regina and likes to be with Nahanni. She is learning basic Nursing skills and her current challenge is attending Nursing school. She hopes to become a nurse in the future.

Owen was born in Regina. He likes to play with trains and trucks and to read books. He can count to 5 and he likes to talk. Getting rides to daycare is a challenge. He hopes to be n pre-k next fall.

Meyah was born in Regina. She likes dolls, hair accessories and dress up. She loves cleaning and looking pretty. She loves new clothes and doing hair. She wants to be a princess and go to a Headstart Dance PowWow.

Francine lives in Regina to be close to her family. She likes sewing and beading and listening to music. Francine makes beaded earrings. She hopes to go to University to complete a Nursing degree.

Delaney is from Regina. He likes Lego, Cars and video games. He is good at Karate and building Lego. He is learning to tie his shoes. He hopes to get a black belt in Karate.

Krissie was born and raised in Regina as part of a big family. Her interests include school, beading, writing, sports, and spending time with her family. She is a great mother to her two boys, Tenin and Talon. She also enjoys reading, and loves to express her creativity through beading and writing. Krissie says that her biggest challenge currently is balancing family, work and school, but she is working hard, and hopes to start her own business early in the next year. Krissie would appreciate a winter coat (size 18), a gift card from Walmart, and a phone card for Koodo. Krissie would also appreciate funds that she can put toward the purchase of a vehicle.

Talon is a son of Krissie, and a little brother to Tenin. He is two years old! Talon likes playing games and sports. His mother describes him as "a great boy", who is very active, happy, and smart. Currently Talon is working on not fighting or biting. For Christmas, Talon would love some toy cars, games, or colouring supplies. He could also use a winter coat (size 5t), and warm footwear (children's size 9).

Ruth grew up in the Philippines. She arrived in Regina on October 15, 2012, together with her daughter Alexa, in order to be reunited with her husband Moises, and together raise Alexa in this place. Ruth is a good cook, and she enjoys spending time with her daughter, teaching her to cook and dance. Ruth and her husband Moises are challenged to find enough money to make ends meet, but they hope to one day provide a good education for their daughter. Ruth would love to receive a casserole set for Christmas, as she does not have one of these. She would also request warm footwear (size 8), a women's winter coat (size: medium, colour: black), and a gift card.

Moises grew up in the Philippines, and came to Regina in 2009 to provide a good future for his family (his wife and daughter joined him here in 2012). Moises loves to go swimming with his daughter, Alexa. He is talented at singing, swimming, and at fixing electronics. Moises and his wife Ruth struggle to pay the bills, while also trying to save for their daughter's education. Moises would most appreciate a gift card from Walmart or Superstore, so that his family can purchase food for Christmas Day. He would also like socks, and a winter coat (medium, black).

Lori has lived in Regina her entire life. She is talented at cooking and baking, and finds real enjoyment in doing these things. Lori is currently facing the challenge of not having enough money, and one day hopes to find a better job. For Christmas, Lori would love a blanket for her bed, a winter jacket (size: women’s large, colour: black), and some candles.

Neveah is approaching her first birthday! (she will turn 1 on December 31st) Neveah lives in Regina with her mom, Lori E. Neveah loves colouring and singing. She hasn’t yet learned to write, but she looks forward to finishing school someday. Neveah also loves the movie Frozen, and would love anything Frozen-themed for Christmas. She would also like a blanket and some socks.

Taela is an eleven-year-old girl. She lives in Regina with her mom, Lori E. Taela’s interests are reading and beading, and she is talented in both of these activities. Taela’s biggest challenge right now is with school, but she looks forward to finishing school one day. Taela would love new earings and a sweater (youth size 12 in any colour) for Christmas. She would also like a warm hat, gloves, and scarf for the winter.

Jesse will turn 13 on December 18th. He is a young man who lives in Regina with his mom, Lori E. Jesse loves to read, and is also a talented athlete – playing both hockey and baseball. In fact, Jesse’s dream is to one day become a professional baseball player! Jesse names spelling as one of his current challenges. Jesse is not picky, saying he’d like anything for Christmas (maybe something baseball-themed would be nice;) though he says he could use a backpack and a winter coat (youth size 16).

Braeden is a fourteen-year-old boy, who lives in Regina with his mom, Lori E. Braeden loves reading, and is a strong student in school, though he sometimes struggles with getting up in time to make it to school. He wont let this keep him from his dream of finishing school, however. Braeden would really love a new winter coat (youth size 16) for Christmas. He could also use a new backpack, and warm footwear (men’s size 8).

Lena has called Regina home for her entire life. She enjoys sewing and beading, and is especially talented at the later. For Christmas, she would like warm footwear (size: 6.5), a blanket, hat, gloves, and a scarf. She could also use a gift card from Walmart.

Kimberley was born and raised in Regina, and states that the elementary schools are one of her favourite aspects of the city (which makes sense, as a mother of young children). Kimberley loves playing games, colouring, and being outside with her children. Currently, Kimberley is faced with the challenge of trying to finish her own schooling, while balancing her responsibilities as a mother, and the need to pay for all of it. One day she hopes to finish school, as a step towards a better future. Kimberley would like some make-up and hair accessories for Christmas. She would also like a gift card from Superstore or Walmart, and a winter coat (size: XL) in any dark colour.

Mary was born and raised in Nigeria, but moved to Regina in September 2010. She is the mother of Veja, a two-year-old boy. Mary enjoys watching TV, and she is a talented cook. Mary is currently facing the challenge of learning the English language. Her hope for the future is that she would be able to have a better job. For Christmas, Mary would like a hat, gloves, and scarf, along with a winter coat (size medium), and a gift card from just about anywhere.

Veja is the two-year-old son of Mary B. He was born in Regina. He loves singing and dancing, and is good at both. Sometimes Veja struggles with listening to his mommy. For Christmas, Veja would like a winter coat and ski pants (size 2-3 years), a hat, gloves, and scarf, and a gift card form Toys-r-us.

Shilpa grew up in Hyderabad, India. She moved to Regina in 2013. She is the mother of a three year old boy. Shilpa enjoys watching debates and is skilled at cooking. Her current challenge is finding a job, but hopes to be employed soon. For Christmas she would like a winter coat (women's size large), a backpack and a gift card.

Kushal is the three year old son of Shilpa. He was born in Winnipeg, but moved to Regina in December, 2013. He enjoys dancing, talking, acting and playing with friends. For Christmas, he would like a winter coat (three year old boy), a backpack and a gift card.

Sarath is from Hyderabad, India. He moved to Regina in 2013. He enjoys watching tv. Sarath is hoping to move his family into his own house. For Christmas, he would like a blanket, a winter coat (size medium, male) and a backpack.

Michelle grew up in Alberta, but moved to Regina 10 years ago. She enjoys school, yoga, and exercising. She is a talented dancer. Her current challenge is school, but she dreams to earn her degree. For Christmas, Michelle would like warm footwear (size 9 women's), hat, a gloves and scarf, and a backpack.

Marta is the two-year-old daughter of Andrey and Elena. She has lived her whole life in Regina. Marta enjoys doing puzzles, and she is a very good singer. For Christmas, Marta would like warm footwear (children's size 8) and a winter coat (children's size 4-5). Marta could also use a Walmart gift card, or perhaps some toys and puzzles:)

Anthony grew up in Calgary, Alberta. He moved to Regina in 2014 to be closer to his family. He enjoys horses, hockey, and is a big fan of the Montreal Canadians and Edmonton Oilers. He is talented at construction. Anthony's current challenge is he is undergoing physiotherapy. He hopes to better himself for the sake of his daughter. For Christmas, he would like socks, a blanket, and a hat, gloves and scarf.

Joselita is 30 years old and grew up in the Philippines. She came to Regina August 15, 2015 to look for a better job opportunity. She enjoys watching movies, road trips, and cooking. She is skilled at playing piano/keyboard, guitar and singing. She is also a competitive swimmer. Her current challenge is finding a job that will support her and her two kids. She hopes to have financial stability to be able to support her kids and get her own home.

Fionah is 3 years old and grew up in Estevan. She came to Regina with her mother August 15, 2015. She enjoys watching Peppa Pig and playing with Toys. She is very good at singing nursery rhymes and describing pictures. She is a normal 3-year-old who has temper tantrums and is trying to get potty trained. Her Mom’s hopes for her in the future is to develop her social skills and to see her receive a better education than she did.

Stephanie is 37 years old and grew up on a farm in the southeast corner of Saskatchewan. She enjoyed the quiet country living. In 2014, she came to Regina for school, work, and training experience. She is an avid volunteer. She describes her skills as being a good mother, friend and helping others. Her plan for the future is to finish her schooling.

Aura is 2 years old and has grown up in Regina. She loves the Little Souls Daycare, family, playing in the parks, watching musical movies, and colouring. She also loves to dance and sing. She is currently working on potty training.

Keana is 8 years old and grew up in Estevan. She enjoys Regina because her family is here. She has long come to Regina on weekends and holidays to be with her family. She enjoys reading, singing, dancing, crafts and playing. She is good at reading and math. She hopes she will be able to stay in Brownies in the future.

Dravin is 6 years old and has grown up in Estevan and Regina. He enjoys Regina because he gets to come visit family on weekend and holidays. He enjoys reading, games, crafts and playing. He is good at playing sports. Something he struggles with is his speech. He hopes in the future to be able to live full-time with mom.

Asher is 3 years old and has lived in Toronto and Regina. He came to Regina with his mom November 29, 2014. He enjoys playing with toys and watching Paw Patrol. His mom hopes he can be the best that God created him to be.

Rhonda is 48 years old and grew up on the Starblanket First Nation just outside of Regina. She came to Regina in 1980 when her parents divorced. She enjoys beading and sewing. She struggles with self-care for herself. She hopes that one day her grandchildren will be able to return to their mother.

Leighton is 3 years old and has lived in Regina all his life. He enjoys playing cars, drawing and painting.

Shayowa is 2 years old and has lived in Regina all her life. She enjoys playing and singing along while watching the Frozen movie.

Terri grew up on Goodfish First Nations in Alberta. She moved to Regina for a change. She likes reading the Bible, watching movies and taking walks. She has 2 small boys and bills, and she counts those as her current challenges. She hopes ones day to be a Christian minister.

Jovan is 3 years old. He came to Regina with his family 2 years ago. He likes to play Spiderman, Turtles, and blocks. He also loves to run around and dance. He has trouble listening to his mommy. His mommy hopes in the future that he will grow up to be a preacher.

Raymond is 2 years old and came to Regina wit his mom. He likes cars and toys and following his older brother. He loves to cuddle. He has some trouble listening to his mommy, and she is looking for ways to help shape and train him. His mommy hopes he will grow up to be a preacher.

Rory is 5 years old and was born and raised in Regina. He enjoys playing with friends and running. He is beginning to read but finding it a little difficult.

Clairisse is almost 2 years old. She was born and raised in Regina. She loves to sing. She is working with her mommy on potty training. Her mommy hopes that she can enjoy everyday with a smile.

Jolz is 7 years old and was born and raised in Regina. She enjoys singing and playing sports. She struggles with Math at school. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Mia was born in Regina and loves to play with mommy and her toys. She is currently teething and stays happy by chewing on things.

Aliya was born in Regina in 2008. When she's not in school, she enjoys biking and playing soccer.

Ayanna has lived in Regina all of her life, since her birth in 2010. She likes bike riding and playing soccer.

Mary was born (1988) and grew up in Regina. She likes to walk, go on bike rides, and go swimming. She has a talent for cooking. Her current challenge is single-parenting while attending school. She plans to graduate and go to university.

Nikolas was born in Regina and likes to read books and play with trucks. He also likes colouring and playing with toys.

Alysha was born in Regina and likes to hang with friends. She is talented at doing hair and nails. Having a steady income is a challenge for her and she plans to complete her Grade 12 and keep working.

Nearly two years old, LaRayne started her life on the George Gordon First Nation reserve before coming to Regina with her mom, who moved here for education. She loves looking at books and playing with her 4-year-old sister. Potty-training is an on-the-horizon challenge to be faced, and her mom dreams of seeing her receive a quality education.

Born in 2011, LaShayne lived on the George Gordon First Nation reserve until moving to Regina this year for her mom to return to school. She loves to sing and dance, play games, and look at books. She dances pow-wow, as a fancy shawl dancer. Her mom dreams to see her complete school and go on to post-secondary studies in the future.

Born in 1983, Delores moved to Regina at the age of 13. She enjoys working out and listening to music. She is skilled at doing hair and make-up. She feels quite satisfied with her life these days, citing no major trials at present. Her future goal is to attend university for further education.

Chrissa moved to Regina just this fall, after living her first four years of life in Yorkton. She loves music and singing, and she is currently quite taken with her ABC's and numbers. :-)

Jordynn had her first birthday in October. Her mom says that she most enjoys playing with books, dolls, and cats. She is currently exploring the full range of her voice box, from shouting to meowing! one of her struggles involves Mommy's departure when it's time for daycare drop-off.

Joshua is two years old and has lived in Regina's whole life. His favorite toys include vehicles of all sorts: trains, trucks, cars, semis. He loves to imagine himself loading and dumping and building. Like his sister, his greatest challenge in life (at this point) involves drop-offs that they care, when Mommy departs.

Charlee is three years old and has always lived in Regina. She enjoys helping with crafts and baking, and watching movies. She is a helpful little girl, somewhat shy, also loves to sing.

Born in 2006, Tehya moved to Regina when her family determined that the city held better schooling options. She enjoys skating and singing, while possessing special talents for dancing and crafts. At school, math is one of her most challenging subjects.

Julie was born in Broadview in 1985. She moved to Regina in 2010, in need of a change of scenery. She loves working with children and describes herself as neat, organized, and reliable. She doesn't particularly enjoy leaving her kids at daycare, and hunting for a decent job is a current challenge she faces. One day, she dreams to own her own home to enjoy with her family.

Quynh moved to Regina with her family in 2014. She likes to dance and is learning English. She would like to make more friends.

Ayden was born in Regina and lives with his family. He loves "Thomas" and singing and dancing. He is working on potty training.

Amy was born in Regina and likes to play with dolls. She is good at speaking and is learning to pick up her toys. She likes Barbies.

Tenin is a five year old boy, who has lived in Regina with his family since 2011. Tenin's mom Krissie is so proud of him, saying that he's a great big brother to his little brother Talon, and that everything he does is amazing! Tenin enjoys playing sports and video games. Tenin would love some toy cars for Christmas, as well as some warm footwear (children's size 12), clothing (size: 5t, colour: blue, green or black), and a backpack.

Alexa is a six-year-old girl who was born in the Philippines, but moved to Regina the day before her third birthday. She arrived with her mom, and was reunited with her dad, who had come to Regina in 2009. Alexa is an artistic little girl, enjoying singing, dancing, painting and drawing. The biggest challenge that Alexa is currently facing is to learn French in school. Alexa's hope - and her family's hope for Alexa - is to get a good education, now that they are living in Canada. Most of all, Alexa would love some "My Little Pony" toys for Christmas.
